Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the Daily Kanji iPhone app and its widgets handle your information. Daily Kanji is made by Criclabs Co., Ltd. ("the developer"). By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information stored on your iPhone

To run, Daily Kanji keeps the following on your device only.

• The JLPT levels you choose and your app settings.
• Your study history, such as the cards you graded, your streak and the words you mastered.
• The word shown in your widgets, shared between the app and its widgets on the same iPhone.

This information is not sent to the developer or to anyone else. It may be included in your own iCloud or iTunes device backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.

Information the developer collects

None. Daily Kanji does not collect personal data, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not track you across apps or websites. On the App Store, the app is listed as Data Not Collected.

Purchases

Daily Kanji Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple processes your payment and manages your subscription. The app only receives confirmation of whether Pro is active, and never sees your name, card or Apple Account details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles payments. Crash reports

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may pass anonymous crash reports to the developer. These do not identify you and are used only to fix problems. You can turn this off in Settings, Privacy and Security, Analytics and Improvements.

When you email support

If you write to support, the developer receives your email address and whatever you include in the message. This is used only to answer you and is deleted within 90 days once your question is resolved.

Deleting your data

Deleting Daily Kanji from your iPhone removes everything the app stored. To ask about support emails, write to support@criclabs.co or visit the support page.

Children

Daily Kanji does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Important changes will also be noted in the app's update notes.
